Capybara sighting in Texas

We recently had an exotic visitor to Small Pleasures Farms - a baby capybara!
The capybara, which is indigenous to South America, is the largest rodent in the
world. It can apparently make a loveable family pet, just like the miniature donkey.
This capy’s owners wanted to see if it might get along with minis, and you can see in
these photos that Jackson and All That Jazz were very interested in the capybara.
However, the mothers with babies tended to view it as a potential predator and
were less welcoming. The capy seemed most excited about all of our grass!
